About:

Zander Carrie is an experienced trial attorney and associate at Polson & Polson Law Firm in Birmingham, AL. Before joining the firm, Zander worked as a Deputy District Attorney in Alabama’s 10th Judicial Circuit. He handled many serious felony charges including capital murder, child sex crimes, drug trafficking cases, and DUI fatalities. Zander gained valuable insights and knowledge from his time at the DA’s office which helps him advise and represent clients who fall under the threat of prosecution. While in graduate school, Zander decided his oral and written advocacy skills would be put to better use as a criminal defense lawyer. He graduated from the University of South Carolina’s School of Law in 2019 and immediately moved back to Birmingham to practice law as a trial attorney in his beloved hometown. Zander is a creative, zealous trial attorney who continues to refine his practice through further education. In March of 2024, Zander attended the nationally acclaimed “Trial Lawyers College” in Tulsa, Oklahoma, working with incredible lawyers and professional psychodramatists from across the country to develop new trial methods and techniques. Outside of the office and courtroom, Zander is a passionate soccer fan and advocate for the soccer community in Birmingham. He previously coached competitive teams at Homewood Soccer Club and holds numerous coaching licenses from the United States Soccer Federation. In his free time, Zander enjoys running long-distance races, cooking at home for his family, watching all Crimson Tide sports, and reading novels written by his favorite author – Haruki Murakami. Zander and his family are members of Ascension Episcopal Church in Vestavia Hills.

"When I first got my charge I wasn’t sure what to expect. The attorneys at Polson and Polson as well as the front desk staff were so helpful & informative. They got my license suspension reduced from 90 to 30 days and were also able to get me put on a diversion program with my court case. I am so grateful to them & so happy that I hired them to represent me! Thank yall so much!"

"They went above and beyond to help me with something that I was wrongfully arrested for. They got the case dismissed promptly and my items returned to me. Ive never had to use a lawyer before but words can’t describe explain how much they helped and the level of humanity Mr Polson has. With out a doubt the best defense lawyer in Birmingham. As a Vet I salute them."
