"I called this lawyer for a consultation was shocked by how unprofessional he was. I wanted to pay for a consult only, yet this man tried to pressure me into retaining his contact (some other lawyer) for my entire case, unprompted. He pretty much insisted that I RETAIN his contact, despite the fact that I ALREADY HAVE counsel for my criminal case. I wanted to sit down with a lawyer for employment advice only; yet he kept going on about retaining his contact for my proceedings!! I tried explaining that I already have legal representation hence I am only look to pay for a consult for the employment matter ONLY. He then got belligerent over the phone, saying, "Oh my god, it's not that complicated!" in an aggressive tone. Completely unprofessional and unnecessary. If you’re looking for a lawyer who listens and treats you with respect, I’d suggest looking elsewhere. I will also be filing a complaint with the Law Society of Ontario. Have the day you deserve."
