"My friend had to close their account at the bank bc of fraudulent activity at the end of Feb so SS had to redirect it to the C.U. where she opened a new account- they wouldn't cut her a check, that's her only income & it's Mar 10 & she still don't have any $$ - rent was due, other bills & no food in refrigerator! There's got to be a better way for circumstances like this- Social Security has got to do better!!! Lucky she had me to lend her some $$ to buy a few things & put gas in her car! What would someone do that had KIDS TO FEED!?? SHE APPLIED FOR FOOD ASSISTANCE TOO-- STILL NO WORD!"
