Victims’ Rights, Criminal Law

About:

I bring seven years of experience working with victims of abuse to my law practice. I understand abuse and how to present its nuances to the Court. I come from a working class family in rural Texas, not generations of lawyers, so I know how to explain the legal process in language you can understand. I will always guide you in the direction that best suits your needs, whether that means reducing conflict and reaching a solution outside of Court, or fiercely advocating for you in the courtroom to make sure you're treated fairly. I offer free 15 minute consultations. Let's talk about how I can protect you.

"-Negative: H&R Block showered me with machine generated emails reminding me to get my taxes done. One or two reminders are fine, but 15 or 20 are a pain and unnecessary, -My tax preparer suggested to me that I vote for a specific presidential candidate if I wanted another tax refund next year from the state of Colorado. Federal candidates do not determine Colorado tax policy. Additionally, this suggestion was for a candidate who appears to be a criminal and has already been convicted of sexual assault and fraud. Additionally, he is charged with a multitude of additional felonies. This made me feel very uncomfortable. -The price for a half hour of work was high. -Positive: My taxes were done quickly and I believe accurately and my preparer found extra deductions that increased my refund well beyond my expectations. Overall, this was a positive experience and I plan to use H&R Block next year and would not hesitate to recommend them."
