About:

Born and raised in the small town of Altha, located in the Florida Panhandle west of Tallahassee and east of Panama City. I studied English Literature at Florida State University for my undergraduate degree, and minored in speech therapy, graduating with full honors. After graduation, I worked for Allstate Insurance Company as a bodily injury insurance claims adjuster. I made the decision to return to school to study law after having worked professionally for nearly 10 years. I received my Doctor of Jurisprudence, with honors, from Florida State University, having studied law at Oxford University in Oxford, England during that time as well. I have practiced criminal defense and family law for the past 15 years, with my focus primarily in the area of family law. I am certified and trained in Collaborative divorce and I am also a Supreme Court Certified Family Law Mediator. I am a Guardian Ad Litem, working always to protect children, and intend to become certified as a Parenting Coordinator this year as well. I believe in alternative dispute resolution as the best measure for resolving family matters. Litigation has its place in divorces if the parties simply cannot agree, however, if the parties can negotiate and agree without necessity of court, that generally produces the best outcome for private matters that deal with your family.

"I could not be happier about the representation that I received! Alenna and Brian were very communicative and generally supportive from my very first phone call to the firm. We had a great phone consultation that let me know I was dealing with professionals. Process took less than 50 days and my situation was complete! Pricing seemed fair. Highly recommend"

"Bad attorney who colludes with other attorneys to keep a client from getting the legal money owed them. Avoid and stay away."
