"Attorney Robert W. Thomas was appointed probate attorney for my late father in Lapeer County, and his conduct has caused profound distress to my family. He refuses to review clear police reports, court filings, and probate documents establishing that my fathers clear and concise wishes. Instead, he refuses to speak with compassion and empathy at the loss of my father so abruptly - He screamed at me over the phone with baseless theft accusations, threatened to depose me, and insisted his fees be paid before we could access our family home and belongings. He treats the estate as a personal payday rather than honoring my father’s explicit wishes. This last year has been the most challenging year of my life, and having this attorney appointed to represent a man that was so honorable on his dying days is truly disheartening. His callous disregard for our rights, his refusal to engage with the facts, and his relentless focus on billing over compassion reveal an attorney unfit to serve. If you value empathy, integrity, and true advocacy, look elsewhere—Robert W. Thomas’s actions are a betrayal of both the legal profession and the families he is sworn to protect."

"Despicable individual who preys upon the elderly. I'd caution against encouraging your loved ones to be in contact with him. He financially exploited my WW2-veteran grandfather for only a modest amount of money. His unethical abyss is beyond reproach."
