Thomas B. Stahl is an accomplished family law and estate planning attorney in Columbia, Maryland. Mr. Stahl is the owner of the Law Offices of Thomas Stahl and represents clients throughout central Maryland and the Washington, D.C., area. He has vast experience with family law cases involving divorce and child support and custody and helping clients with estate administration, probate, trusts and wills. Mr. Stahl has over a decade of legal experience and is an established family law attorney. Prior to founding his firm, he served as a clerk for a judge on the bench of the Circuit Court for Howard County, Maryland, and co-founded another Columbia-based law firm. He holds licenses to practice law in both Maryland and Washington, D.C., and serves as a court-appointed attorney in trustee and guardianship cases. Active in his legal community, Mr. Stahl is a member of the Howard County Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association, the District of Columbia Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Over the years, he has held many leadership positions within these organizations and was presented with the Howard County Bar Association’s service award and president’s award. He is also a former adjunct professor of law at the University of Baltimore School of Law. Mr. Stahl holds a bachelor’s degree in international studies and Russian studies from George Mason University and a master’s degree in Soviet studies from the University of Virginia. He received his law degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law and graduated from the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers Institute for Family Law Associates in 2012.

"The offices of Thomas Stahl were amazing! I always felt if I had a question there was always someone there that could assist me with whatever my concerns were. Every person that assisted me always remained very professional, courteous and was very knowledgeable in all aspects of my case. Ross helped a lot with getting documents needed as this can be very stressful he made it seem a lot easier of a process. Florian was regularly available and able to talk things through if I needed clarification or had any input to add in what I was trying to seek in my case he made sure to have time to help. I am glad I chose the firm and would recommend them to anyone seeking guidance through the divorce process!"
