About:
Ms. Duffy is an Australian-trained attorney who excelled at law school, achieving entry into a competitive practical law program, placing first in Advanced Criminal Law in her final year, and being awarded her law degree with Honors. She began her career in Sydney by clerking for a Supreme Court Judge. She then moved into a criminal defense practice where she represented clients in matters ranging from shoplifting and DUI to sexual assault and murder and has conducted hundreds of trials. She earned a reputation as an honest and forthright advocate who was always well prepared and was not afraid to stand up to the police or their witnesses in court. Tennille then took a break from criminal defense to work in New Delhi, India, in international police reform efforts and in legal education. She also spent a semester teaching Criminal Law at the University of New South Wales, one of the top law schools in Australia. Motivated to return to criminal defense so she could again do the direct work she so enjoys in representing clients, Tennille passed the California Bar Exam and moved to the Bay Area in 2013, and joined Summit Defense in 2014. DVLawyers AI Summary:
Gray, Duffy, Eisenbaum & Lee, LLP provides a broad range of legal services with a focus on various aspects of civil law. Although their primary emphasis is not specifically on domestic violence, they do handle related areas such as personal injury litigation and employment law, which may intersect with issues of domestic abuse in specific contexts. Their practice includes business and commercial transactions, product liability, and real estate law, which may be relevant for survivors seeking legal assistance for property-related disputes or business matters. The firm adopts a professional and straightforward tone, which suggests they are committed to thorough representation without unnecessary embellishments. While the website does not explicitly emphasize trauma-informed practices, the breadth of their services and experience hints at a level of understanding that might be beneficial to survivors, especially in sensitive cases like personal injury or employment disputes. If you are a survivor of domestic violence seeking legal support, it’s important to consider that while this firm may address some broader legal matters that could touch on your situation, they may not specialize directly in domestic violence cases like restraining orders or custody issues. Therefore, it would be wise to evaluate whether their approach aligns with your specific needs and is compassionate towards your experience. As you navigate this challenging time, seeking a firm that specializes directly in domestic violence may provide a more tailored and supportive environment.

"Wow. I experienced Gray Duffy, LLP during a hearing with attorney Camerlengo representing the defense. She was ill prepared and took exhaustively long to cross examine. She did not come prepared with questions and submitted evidence AFTER the hearing started. Terrible."
