"At first when Kirti took me on as a client, she was very respectful and prompt. Within a few months, there was very little or no replies, with nothing filed with the courts. Creeping up on the 1 year mark, still, nothing was filed with the courts. It wasn't until I filed a complaint that she started to be active on my case. Shortly after, my case was filed with the courts. Just after a year, the responses were limited and not much action was taken. During our first case conference, Kirti made several mistakes, and didnt represent me like she should have. After the case conference, lots of other mistakes were made and I wasn't being represented appropriately. About a month ago, I was pulled into her office to sign more Affidavits because the initial ones were declined by the court house. Kirti mentioned that I was out of legal aid hours but not to worry or stress because she's not going to leave because it would be detrimental to both the case and I having to find new legal counsel. Today I find out, she's dropping me as a client and that I need to re apply for legal aid and get new legal representation."

"Kirti Nasland and the team at Summit are the best. They have handled multiple mortgages for me and Kirti has taken the time to explain everything in plain language and ensure my interests were taken care of. Today I went to the office with my 87 year old mom to get her application for a birth certificate notarized and one again Kirti was exceptional. She is welcoming, kind, and professional."

"My lawyer was Taj Sahota and right from the beginning, I felt she was not competent. I had to continually remind her of the details of my situation, as she seemed to completely forget. It did not feel at all as though I was in good hands...the financial statement was done up incorrectly with child support claimed as a taxable income, the amounts were not believable at all and my boyfriend and I had to take time to redo the whole thing. When completing the financial report, my ex spouse was served only the financial statement in error, and not the full agreement for his signing, he was served twice delaying the process. When the court date came, the trial was a mess. My ex spouse had decided to not pay me child support, and I was depending on this trial. Taj did not reiterate the orders I was looking for correctly, and the judge ended up writing up an order that did not even have our parenting time included, extraordinary expenses, central meeting location, or phone call times. This is for a case in which my ex-husband was physically abusive, and had criminal charges, and was also refusing to pay child support. It has been seven months as of today and the order is still not complete. After two months following the court hearing, the court order was rejected due to an incorrect spelling of my middle name (which was my error from a previous case). Three weeks ago, I spoke with Taj and she said she would correct it and send it back, still it was not filed, just a simple correction to my middle name. Knowing I have two kids at home, and knowing Christmas is coming with no child support, she forgets to send in the correction. No one deserves this. I have had a lawyer previous and in no way was this the experience I had. I am extremely upset with the time I have wasted giving her the benefit of the doubt. I truly believe I could have done this all myself and it would be completed by now and I would be receiving payments."
