Summer R. Nichols has been practicing family law in the state of Florida for over a decade. . Mrs. Nichols received her Bachelor’s Degree in English (2001) and Master’s Degree in English Literature (2005) from Florida State University. Her outstanding achievements at Florida State won her the Florida Governor’s Scholarship to attend Florida Coastal School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor Degree in 2008. She has volunteered with Three Rivers Legal Aid in Jacksonville, Jacksonville Area Legal Aid, and the Florida Coastal Family and Child Advocacy Clinic. Mrs. Nichols enjoys practicing solely in the area of family law because of the close connections she makes with her clients while guiding them through some of the most emotional and difficult times in their lives. The most rewarding part of her job is when she is able to make things happen for her clients, moving them forward toward closure and a new phase in their lives. Mrs. Nichols has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the area of family law and continues to consistently secure favorable outcomes for her clients. Making the decision to hire a particular lawyer is a both a personal and professional one. Professionally, the attorney needs to be skilled in the particular area for which you need representation. Family law is unique from any other type of practice and requires an attorney who knows and excels in this particular area. Personally, you must feel comfortable working with the attorney you choose. From the time she was a little girl, Mrs. Nichols would assist her parents in their family business. As a result, the experience taught her the value of putting clients’ needs first and exceeding client expectations. The people she meets with in her office every day are going through some of the most difficult and emotional times of their lives, and she understands how important it is for them to feel comfortable with her and place their trust in her skills.

"Horrible communication Took more than $2000.00 for retainer never had communication with the actual lawyer and it was hard to even get a paralegal on the phone!!! Dropped my divorce case after she took my money and other payments and right before the court date!!! RUN RUN RU!!! Taking advantage of a 75 year old is ridiculous!!!"
