"My sister called them for me and highly recommended that I go with them. I asked to speak with James to get more information once the retainer was sent unfortunately communication is not his strong suite at all. I’ve had lawyers in the past that communicated with me every step of the way, if you plan on using them be prepared to be ghosted after you send the retainer. Ive also called and asked to switch to another lawyer in the firm but they still sent me back to James, I’m not happy and as of now I don’t really recommend, If and when my situation clears I’ll update my review."

"I was recently in a position where I needed legal assistance and I was definitely concerned and worried about the possible outcome of my case. I had over the phone consultations with approximately 5-6 different law firms. James Kim at Takakjian & Sitkoff was one of the first gentlemen I spoke with. After my conversation with Mr. Kim I felt more knowledgeable about the possible results of my case, he definitely made me feel more comfortable about my situation. I then did my due diligence and spoke with some other firms, however, the conversation with James stuck with me. I went ahead and chose Takakjian & Sitkoff because of it. I then met with James, he came out to the city where I'm employed so I wouldn't miss to much work. After exchanging paperwork we went over my case again discussing the possible results. During our conversation James indicated to me that Paul Takakjian would be representing me. As my court date approached Paul reached out to me to go over the details of my situation as well as verify some of the information. He verified information from the people involved as well as the DMV, both of whom I was having a difficult time getting anything from. At my court date, Paul arrived, presented a packet to the DA, spoke with him briefly and got the charges dismissed. It was the best possible outcome. It's also the outcome that James had initially told me was possible. Being in that position was disappointing and concerning, however, being represented by James and Paul made it so much more comforting. I'm very happy with their work and effort. From what started out as a decision that I was hopeful was right, turned out to be a great choice. I can't recommend them enough. I'm very pleased. Other people in the courtroom even noticed. After my case was heard, the court broke for a recess, several other people from the courtroom came up to me afterward and said "you have a good attorney, who is that?" It was Paul Takakjian."

"Several years ago, I needed legal assistance after getting charged with a pair of misdemeanors. I reached out to James Kim with my case, and he helped tremendously. Through the entirety of the case, he always responded immediately with any questions or help I needed regarding the case. I even remember him taking time out of his personal days to call me with information that I needed. With my case being nearly four years ago, I still contact James from time to time with help signing legal documents that ask about past charges. Every time we talk, he remembers every detail of my case and will walk me through how to sign and answer certain questions (things like job applications, college paperwork, background checks etc.). James also communicated between California and the Arizona Department of Public Safety in getting my fingerprint clearance card for college. He called and emailed the offices of the AZ Department of Public Safety to ensure that all of my paperwork got to the right people. James was sure to do all of the behind the scenes work with the courts and police station and bridge the communication between them all.
