About:

With over 36 years of experience in state and federal criminal defense, Stephen R. Kahn is a highly regarded Beverly Hills criminal defense attorney whose aggressive advocacy, intelligence, credibility, and trial skills have earned him the respect of prosecutors, law enforcement officials, and the courts in California and across the nation. When charged with a crime, the most important decision you will make is who you hire as your criminal defense lawyer. The consequences of criminal charges are serious and the criminal justice process can be overwhelming for both the accused and their loved ones. Attorney Stephen R. Kahn will step up and fight for you with expertise and experience. Before charges are even filed, Mr. Kahn will often intervene with the police in order to resolve the matter before it ever gets sent to a prosecutor. If charges are filed, Stephen immediately contacts prosecutors and pushes for a dismissal or alternatives to the severe punishments pursued by the government. If a favorable result cannot be achieved, Mr. Kahn will not hesitate to take a case to trial. Indeed, his well-known record of not guilty verdicts spanning four decades is a testament to his abilities in front of a jury. A key to Mr. Kahn's success is his strong relationships with his clients. Everyone who Stephen represents, no matter what they are charged with, is treated with compassion and respect. He works tirelessly to show law enforcement, police, courts, and juries that his clients are not generic defendants defined by police reports and criminal complaints, but real human beings with unique life stories who deserve special consideration and attention. DVLawyers AI Summary:

This firm specializes in defending individuals against fraud and criminal charges, with an emphasis on domestic violence cases. Their focus is on providing robust legal representation while maintaining a compassionate understanding of the unique challenges faced by survivors of abuse. The tone of their communication is supportive and empathetic, recognizing the trauma that clients may have experienced. They emphasize a survivor-first approach, aiming to empower clients through legal processes. While the firm primarily centers on criminal defense, including fraud and domestic violence, it is crucial for survivors to consider if their specific needs align with the firm’s expertise. Survivors seeking guidance on custody issues or restraining orders may find this firm’s resources helpful, but they should be aware that the primary focus is on defense rather than family law or civil matters. For those who have faced domestic violence and are also dealing with criminal charges, this firm could provide a valuable perspective and support. Their trauma-informed approach suggests they understand the complexities of such cases and are committed to advocating for vulnerable individuals. However, if your primary concern is obtaining a restraining order or navigating custody disputes without an overlapping criminal issue, it may be beneficial to seek a law firm that specializes directly in family law and domestic violence advocacy. Overall, this firm houses experienced attorneys who can offer strong representation in criminal matters, making it a potentially appropriate choice for survivors in need of defense against charges stemming from abusive situations.

"I was going to park in the Beverly Hills public parking that is just on the other side of the street but was wrongly turn into this parking garage. Turn out that this one is so expensive and has no grace period. I just go inside and read the parking rate and get out with a 2.99 payment. It’s 2.99 per 15 minutes while on the other side of street it’s first hour free and 1 per hour."
