"We waited a while to see Dr. Burstein, and it was well worth it. We have seen several therapists, and some of them rushed to prescribe medication to seek magical instant recovery (are there any magical pills?) while neglecting the long-term negative impact of the medication to a child's growing brain. Not Dr. Burstein. He is methodical, comprehensive, careful, and patient. He noticed his patient's progress and was willing to allow the patient to grow and improve without the effect of medication. We were impressed."

"Disappointing. We waited months to see him and it was not worth it. I would not recommend."

"Called him 3 if not 4 times and left messages but never heard back. I understand if a doctor is not taking on new patients but to not have the decency to call someone back and let them know is unacceptable especially when the hardest part is knowing you need help and being willing to seek it."

"I am still unsure how a physician can not participate in any hearth care insurance coverage."

"Knowledgeable, compassionate, accommodating, informative, responsive and goes above and beyond the call of duty. Someone else left a scathing review and besides that individual’s personal experience in the office, none of the concerns listed were accurate in any of my years of being one of his patients. His office location is perfectly safe, his focus and attention for me as a patient were exceedingly attentive. If you’re willing to be an active part of your treatment most psychiatrists pshychiatry will be more effective. So, no matter who you seek for treatment, be willing to work with your provider. Individually, Dr. Burstein worked with me exceptionally well and it was effective in part because of his demeanor and expertise and also because I was willing to work with him. Treatment takes patient effort, too. Adam Burstein will do what is necessary to treat a patient effectively and aims to make sure no unnecessary medications are prescribed. Less can be more but when meds are needed he knows what to prescribe and how much. He genuinely wants to see his patients happy and effective people and helps with genuine expertise."
