My name is Stephen Hamilton; I am a Board Certified Criminal Defense Attorney who focuses on DWI cases. I have spent my almost 20 years of practice on the defense side. I began to focus on DWI cases in early 2000 after becoming a member of the National College for DUI Defense. I have hundreds of hours of continuing legal education on criminal law issues and specifically on DWI/DUI defense. Because my practice focuses on DWI defense and criminal law, I often speak and lecture to other lawyers about how to try a DWI case. Local media in cases and issues involving DWI or other intoxication issues has interviewed me. My goal is to focus on each case that I take and provide personal client attention. I try more cases in a year than most criminal lawyers try in ten years and I believe that is for several reasons. First, I like my clients. "Worst experience of my life. I had a total of three lead attorneys. My second one was really great and almost had my charger dropped before she switched sides and moved to the DA. My last attorney, Greg was absolutely horrid. He would tell me we were gonna have a phone call at this time on this day and it never happened. That happened for six weeks in a row. I don’t feel like he did anything for my case everything he had was what I handed to him. To make it worse, my case was a simple car accident and he couldn’t get it dropped to anything at all. I really don’t think he even tried. He was rude to talk to told me I didn’t know what I was talking about and just continually put me down. I ended up pleading out because they told me they couldn’t win in court. I couldn’t take those chances as I have two bachelors degree and I’m working on a masters degree as well as being a single mom so I had no choice and was forced into a deal by them. Whatever you do stay away from this company. All they want is your money. They do not return phone calls they do not return texts. They really just do the bare minimum. I will be turning them into the bar for their lack Of representation. I asked numerous times to speak with the owner, which, of course never happened. I’m glad to have this over and I pray that none of you ever have to deal with this company in your life. I’m not someone to leave bad reviews on anything or leave reviews at all, but please please get more than one consultation and please pick someone else. Your life will depend on it and you can’t leave your life in these incompetent hands."
