"A few years ago my stepdaughter had to go to court to establish permanent custody for her two small children. The whole year of the separation the kids were with her 100% of the time. We paid this woman $5,000 to represent her in court. Never contacted her prior to the court date or returned any calls. On the day of court, shockingly, some other young lady showed up in her place to represent my stepdaughter. This is a lady with stiletto heels and a mini skirt. Skirt. As soon as the woman spoke to the judge, she was summarizing the case and said that there was one child. In the case. There's actually two children. The judge laughed at her and refused to let the attorney speak for the remainder of the hearing. That judge gave the other side everything they wanted including half physical custody, let them change the school district to their house, and didn't even ask for pay stubs when setting the $200 child support for a man that makes 80 grand a year. She came out a hundred times worse than she was before the hearing. When she tried to complain couldn't even get Lucinda scales to call her back. At a minimum they should have refunded all or part of the money after destroying the case, but they did. None of those things. Never could get past the gatekeeper. This woman made the case for my stepdaughter's life a hundred times worse and then wouldn't even talk to her after basically stealing $5,000 and doing nothing for the client. Nothing except making it much much worse. I'm thinking about this now because she's going back to court at the end of this month and we need an attorney. She even tried to call to remind them how badly they destroyed the case last time to see if they would take it at a reduced rate and actually represent her like they represent their other clients, but of course, couldn't get past the gatekeeper.. shockingly horrible representation. The least they could do is try to make it up to her since the money back wasn't even an option after they ruined her chances of getting anything on behalf of her children."

"Navigating the family court process was a long and uncertain journey, but having Cinda Scales as my attorney made all the difference. From the start, she was persistent, thorough, and truly lived up to her reputation as a “bulldog” in court. The process was far different from what I initially imagined. It’s long, grueling, and testing. Stay patient. Cinda’s expertise and guidance will get you there. In the end, she didn’t just represent me—she saved my family. I’m incredibly grateful for her dedication and highly recommend her to anyone in need of strong representation."

"Did not follow through when the order came back from the other lawyer (10-15) window to check to make sure the order is correct. She was told it was wrong and she never filed it with the court in time for the correction. Went in after the date expired and she asked for more money. No stuck with an order that is completely incorrect. Do not recommend, does not follow up."

"The reviews speak for themselves. Consultation was $250 went great. Paid $2,500 cash in February for Cinda to represent our family never heard back, so we contacted the office in September 7 MONTHS LATER. Secretary claimed they left 1 voicemail in February, which they did not! We are willing to pull our phone records if able to prove so! So in 7 months “1 voicemail was left” which it wasn’t. Not 1 more call, not an email, not a certified letter.. absolutely no communication for over 6 months is CONCERNING AND QUESTIONABLE! We decided we did not want to proceed with our case due to this reason and was pleasantly surprised when we got a refund back of over $2,100! Our family is going to hire a different office for our very simple needs."
