"Carla Castaneda is an incredible attorney! She guided me through a very difficult divorce from my toxic, narcissistic ex with strength, compassion, & so much expertise. We went through a lot together, & even when I threw her a curve ball at trial, she quickly pivoted and helped us come out winning. IYKYK One of the biggest gifts she gave me was handling interactions with my ex so that I didn’t have to face him. What a huge relief. "I had a consultation with Carla Castaneda about drafting a postnuptial agreement ( I had clearly stated this goal to assistant before scheduling). During the consultation, Carla said she wasn't sure she could take on my issue as it was different than other postnups she had done. She would do some research (using part of my consultation time) and get back to me. A week later, someone from the office called and said that Carla was unable to help me--she was unable to take on any new clients. Then why did she agree to the consultation? When I asked if I would then be reimbursed the consultation fee, I was told "I don't think that's going to happen". And what happened to the "research" I paid for? What a shoddy and unprofessional way to do business. Divorce with respect?? Good one."

"One Star – Unprofessional and Disrespectful Experience I’m writing this review to caution others about the extremely unprofessional experience my family member had with Mende Romaniak. I was helping a family member secure legal representation, and they reached out to Mende for a consultation from what seemed like a reputable company. From the very beginning, her demeanor was dismissive and unprofessional. She rolled her eyes during the conversation, smacked her lips, and made it clear through her body language and tone that she wasn’t interested in truly helping. When my family member calmly and respectfully shared that they didn’t feel it was the right fit and asked what they could pay her for her time, Mende responded, “nothing,” and abruptly hung up the call. That type of behavior is not only rude, it’s completely unacceptable in any professional setting, especially one where individuals are seeking legal support during challenging times. My family member approached the conversation in good faith and was met with attitude and disrespect. There are plenty of qualified, professional, and compassionate attorneys out there. Based on this experience, Mende is not one of them. I do not recommend her services to anyone. Proceed with caution."

"Attorney Carla Castaneda and Senior Paralegal, Nancy Garcia, did an excellent job representing me and I can highly recommend the firm of Bartholomew and Wasznicky. Carla was attentive to my concerns and her advice was spot on. She handled the private settlement conference and the challenge to implement the agreements we reached smoothly and quite effectively. Nancy made a very good point of contact and was knowledgeable and quite helpful at every step. There was a complete lack of useless drama throughout the process. If you find yourself in need of a qualified divorce attorney, I have no hesitation recommending the firm. They live up to the message in their email address."
