"I have unfortunately had 3 different family law cases over the last 4 years, as well as several other related legal cases stemming from these family law disputes. The one handled by Sound Family Law went the worst, and resulted in the total loss of custody and only a few days of visitation a year. Thankfully, this arrangement was only temporary and would ultimately last a few months. Literally a few weeks after my case with Sound Family Law was concluded, the opposing party opened a new petition to modify the parenting plan that we had just settled several weeks earlier. This is apparently unheard of, since judges are generally not willing to accept a petition to modify that soon after concluding a prior parenting plan agreement. All the attornies I spoke to were amazed to hear that they would be filing a new petition to modify so soon after our previous case, and they seemed to think no judge would take the petition seriously. This should have been a simple, easy, open-and-shut case for Stacie and her colleagues at Sound Family Law. However, when I contacted Sound Family Law about the new petition, they were unwilling to provide any assistance on my case. Thankfully, this ultimately went in my favor. They gave me a referal to another law firm, whose attornies were much more competent and effective. This other firm was able to close the case out much quicker than Sound Family Law and we came to an agreement that was much more favorable. I now have shared custody (or whatever they call it in WA) and get to see my daughter 50% of the time. However, that was only because I was lucky enough to find a more competent attorney at another law firm. Stacie was never very good at explaining the law to me, her client. She didn't seem to be good at asking the right questions or getting the relevant information that would help make my legal case, and she didn't seem that interested or invested in me as an individual. Unlike my other attornies, she didn't even give my a call me or do a final meeting after both parties came to an agreement on the final parenting plan. In both other family law cases I've had, my attornies called me afterwards to wrap things up and discuss what happened, and what to do if any issues come up in the future. Stacie never even spoke to me after the case was finalized, and she had no interest in assisting me when a new petition was filed literally weeks after we finalized the last one. Honestly, it always felt like Stacie was not really on my side, and like she wasn't very supportive or sympathetic about my case. I have not had this experience with any of my other attornies. Which law firm you choose to work your case can make a huge difference. Sound Family Law was not the right law firm for me and I would not recommend them to anyone else."

"Sound Family Law has been the best experience I've had with any attorneys. Stacie Naczelnik is a great attorney to have on your side when dealing with the stress of custody. She always responded to me promptly and kept me in the loop on any updates. Stacie always looks out for her clients best interests and that is refreshing when my experience with attorneys in the past was all about money. I genuinely feel so grateful Sound Family Law was recommended to me. Having a good attorney makes all the difference and if I did not find Stacie Naczelnik I think my situation would have turned out a lot different. I would definitely recommend Stacie Naczelnik at sound Family Law with no hesitation."

"Although we certainly didn't want to be in the legal battle we found ourselves in- I am so so glad that we had Sound Family Law on our side. They fought tirelessly on our behalf and were so professional and responsive. I really don't know how they do all that they do so efficiently. Thank you Sound Family Law (especially Stacie!), you helped a couple of scared, overwhelmed folks feel safe and empowered."
