"This service is a scam. They charged my card for different things that are hidden and I’m having to file a small claims case to get my money back. Keep away!"

"In looking through the reviews, it appears many for this space are either "fake" or irrelevant. This is a company that rents office space, and I am a customer. The sales experience is the equivalent of buying a car. AKA universally unpleasant. I had bad feeling about the experience from the get-go, but I needed an office quickly, so I signed up on August 15th for a 3-month lease. I got a welcome email from the "CEO" which I later found out goes to the local staff if you reply. Regus takes a two-month deposit and charges a "cleaning and painting fee" right off the bat along with holding AN ADDITIONAL two months of fees which triggers a constant barrage of "topping up" notifications and payment demands. In all, I received over two dozen emails with billing, top up, ancillary “hidden” fees. The nickel and diming is for fees like printing and $35 per month for beverage service but somehow you must “pay as you go” for beverages. In under two weeks I started getting "automatic renewal" demands via email almost immediately. I got very busy at work and had sent my cancelation for the lease term but there was an error on their site and it didn’t go through, apparently. The “cancellation” process is also in my opinion intentionally complicated, in the same way if you’ve every quit the gym of one of those credit monitoring services. My “lease” automatically renewed and now I’m trying to fight to get my money back. Two weeks in! Also, if you are looking for a prestigious office space, this isn’t it. The parking lot is a shambles (cracked pavement and faded lines) and if you want covered outdoor parking it’s another $200 a month. The Regus signage and sales collaterals are everywhere which adds to the overall “cheap” feeling of the building in spite of being in the 07078 zip code. The large sign on the side of the building and out front with “SPACE AVAILABLE” adds to the cheap experience. Topping it all off, the entire office suite itself doesn’t lock. You read that right. The doors are open 24/7 because Regus can’t sort out how to fix the locks. Apparently, this has been the case for quite some time. However, the 24/7 access to the building only works with a proximity app on your phone. To date, I have been unable to get it to work or get assistance in doing so Regus can’t even honor its own agreements or provide a safe space. Save yourself the trouble and find somewhere else to rent. I have rented space in NYC, LA and other cities, this one takes the cake for lack of value and sleazy business practices. I will update my review if Regus tries to make any of this right."
