2nd Street Law PLLC is a dedicated criminal defense law firm based in Yakima, WA, focusing on a variety of serious legal matters, including domestic violence cases. With decades of combined experience, the attorneys, Ulvar Klein and Robin Emmans, are committed to providing aggressive and empathetic representation for individuals facing criminal charges. They understand the complexities and emotional toll associated with domestic violence accusations, which can lead to severe personal and legal repercussions. Their approach appears trauma-informed, prioritizing the needs and feelings of their clients. The firm emphasizes the importance of strong legal advocacy in domestic violence cases, outlining the potential risks involved when a police report is filed. They acknowledge the emotions tied to these situations, aiming to restore stability and dignity for their clients. The team at 2nd Street Law is described as skilled and knowledgeable, prepared to navigate the legal landscape with sensitivity and determination. For survivors considering this firm, it's essential to recognize that while they are experienced in the field of criminal defense, their primary focus is on defending those accused, rather than providing support for survivors of domestic violence seeking to take legal action against their abusers. Thus, while they might be a suitable choice for those needing defense against allegations, survivors seeking advocacy might want to explore other legal resources more focused on assisting victims. Their commitment to a fair legal process and their support during the challenging times of criminal accusations can provide a sense of security for those in need of representation.

"I really do not know Mr. Moore, but Robin Emmans is one heck of a criminal defense attorney. She knows More, than John Grisham and Fredrick Lanier Gause Junior in Tennessee put together. I was very impressed. Plus, she works probono like me as a teacher. One Saturday out of the month the attorneys take turns at the Yakima Valley Downtown Library. She will inform you of your rights, and tell you the best opinions under a person's particular circumstances. Believe it or not some people are innocent until proven guilty. The ones that are guilty tend to change when they are raised up emotionally, instead of reticuled for wrong doing or simply being a part of an impoverished society. We are the change, and this law firm really stands out to make a difference."
