"Title insurance during a real estate closing should be seamless, uneventful and managed well (in the background) while all other moving parts are commencing. First American Title Company achieved this during my most recent real estate purchase."

"While I was on the selling side, this has been one of the worst experiences imaginable. They did not provide closing disclosure till less than 24 hours prior to close. non responsive! Closing date and all data to arrive at seller closing disclosure available over 10 days ago. Tried to guage me on interest for late payment of property taxes at 11th hour even though taxes were not due to be paid till 3 days after closing due to COVID deferral. Then told me if I paid online and provided proof, they would remove from statement. Then , 1 hour before close, they say they without escrow even though i sent proof of payment. Totally unprepared and unprofessional."
