About:

Over 30 Years Of Trial Experience Dear Clients, Friends, and Family,

DVLawyers AI Summary:

Randolph A. Meyer, a seasoned attorney with over 30 years of experience, focuses on various practice areas that include family law, divorce, and criminal law. While his extensive background showcases his legal proficiency, it’s essential to note that his firm does not specifically highlight a specialized focus on domestic violence cases. However, his experience in family law could be beneficial for survivors navigating custody issues or seeking protective measures through the court system. The tone of the website reflects a professional and respectful demeanor, with a strong emphasis on trust and quality representation. Although the language used is straightforward and formal, there is an underlying sense of appreciation for clients, as illustrated in the acknowledgment of the firm’s long-standing presence in the community. This approach indicates a degree of empathy and understanding towards individuals seeking legal help, although it doesn't explicitly state a trauma-informed approach. For survivors of domestic violence, it’s crucial to consider whether a lawyer with broader family law and criminal law experience aligns with your specific needs. If you are seeking assistance primarily for domestic violence matters, you may want to inquire directly with the firm about their experience in handling such cases. While they might provide competent support for family-related legal issues, ensure that you feel comfortable and understood in your interactions. This firm could potentially be a good fit for those looking for general family law assistance, but it is advisable to clarify their specific experience regarding domestic abuse situations before proceeding.

"I called Mr. Meyer, whose name popped up when I did a search for lawyers who help seniors in Geneseo County. Mr. Meyer was abrupt, yelled at me, would not hear me out, and cut me off before I could even tell him my problem. It's obvious he thinks seniors are sub-human people. He had not one minute (literally) to hear me out. A ruthless, cold-hearted, rude man whose name should not be associated with legal services for elderly people AT ALL. This lawyer needs to be disciplined by the Legal Association for bringing a bad name to lawyers in general. He's everything a person would NOT want in a lawyer!"
