"Re-affirming- DO NOT engage this firm - and never to deal with Estates. They've a vested interest in exploiting and aggravating issues within families, so their coffers are filled.... the change in how ICBC deals with personal injury claims has bit into their profits, as for many firms. But this one is ugly. DO NOT engage this firm for any business requirements, either. Unprofessional conduct is the norm from one or two senior members. The Law Society is aware. ** NB - the response from this firm is inaccurate. Apparently it is unaware of its own clientele."

"I had the misfortune of hiring this law firm a while back as a yound adult trying to get a start in my life. I came to them with a very cut and dry case, a sentiment that my RLR lawyer shared in our initial call. Once the retainer was paid, communication broke down and I managed to end up reaching up a massive bill of nearly $40,000 for research, mostly conducted by an assistant. There were very few documents that needed to be investigated and very little discover that should have needed to be done to any lawyer with any knowledge of the local laws. In the end, I was told the the case was actually quite complicated (it was not), and that my lawyer would provide no farther services and would not represent me in court. When my concerns were raised to a partner at the firm, I was not even giving the decency of a reply. I would advice to go elsewhere for your legal needs."
