"If there's ever been an agency that needs a DOGE it's this one. And reading other reviews I see other families have experienced the similar situations. Last year I went to the office downtown to make a report. One woman there pointed at the phone they had in the waiting room and said to call the number online and do the report. Why do they even have an office then? I called because my father Edward was and is being financially abused by his step daughter Charlotte. I was with him when he was in the hospital the month prior and it was the end of the month and my father confided in me that Charlotte would call him repeatedly for money for her apartment and her new Mercedes. There's no harm in someone giving someone else money except my father has dementia and she used this to her advantage. My father was living without hot water because he his water heater didn't work. He hadn't showered in over 2 years. His socks had holes. His boots falling off. His refrigerator non working and his house having rats and bugs. She cared not for how he was and is living just as long as she gets what she wants. I gave APS medical paperwork on my dad's condition and also the many friends and family members phone numbers who are witness to all of this so they could step in and nothing was done. In fact one of the agents if that's what their title is called me and her last words to me where .....your dad can live with rats if he wants to. I will be getting legal representation for all of this and calling the Ombudsman. My suggestion is to do the same. And since nothing was done from them she had my father sign paperwork from an attorney giving all of us his biological children get $1 and she would receive both of his homes, his cars, $90,000 in his bank account, a life insurance and his possessions. Those who take advantage of tge elderly and disabled are disturbing sick individuals and its sad that agencies that are supposed to protect them do nothing."

"Think it's time to have Austin called n a complet investigation of el paso county services you can always go over the neads of the social worker for not doing there job properly as any investigation by cps, or senior services is more than a week it's takes about a month to do there investigation correctly and take there time going over paper work talking to people to complete there investigation and if the social worker is not doing there job they can be fired and replaced ..to over turn there investigation and report there short coming of investigation you must contact the state attorney generals office and tell them.what is going on .. As not so long ago bear County cps got busted for not fully complying with investigation of child endangerment as they also were removing children from homes because they felt it was right .. as I know from one case they tryed to take a new born from a family because of improper test report of another who was taking prescription drugs for high blood pressure and to keep it regulated..as the drug that was prescribed was a form of meth as it's contained meth the prescription was called methadopia ..false drug test could of taken child away from.family but retesting showed it was false and all they did was send letter of apology...they didn't take new born for father took them.on Call attorney General n report case worker"

"***To those reading this as I strongly doubt those in the office care about this . This is from my recent experience that is very troubling and I’ll never silence. To anyone ; They need their own advise… I called them countless times when I suspected my dad wasn’t okay and they kept hanging up on me and not only that, the lady who did respond completely sided with the abuser who was totally plotting a malicious case on my dad as he was so vulnerable and exploited financially behind him and my and his identity misused. They need their own advice became the police never helped and it’s been isolating and I was looked at like I’m just crazy. My dad passed away. Heartbreaking circumstances and when I saw his phone the abuser was basically admitting everything like taunting him and more. He was a type 1 diabetic survived cancer and heart attack and open heart surgery that so many others fundraised off of and I was so discredited somehow no one has been listening. Even worse I found out my dad did have a hard time explaining but the abusers texts did admit finding him unconscious after he was texting asking for the food since he was dropping low blood sugar but he was forced food in his mouth and it was described like it was they took pleasure in what they did. I saw the screenshots between the abuser and Veronica from the downtown location and when my dad did before let her know that it was his payday and he only 1.50 she ignored it. But no one has cared but if no one is even caring about the negative google reviews I mean everyone is told to go to this agency but that becomes a problem when they are purposely not caring as much as I know it’s not in the job description as much as showing up to work with appropriate attire. If any life matters and it’s anyone’s business when it comes to such matters like the main website states than this isn’t a good approach there needs to be new or different help available because to be told on the phone when I called that they’re “investigating” then hang up on me without meeting me or asking me anything it’s very dangerous. These are human lives. My dad was years ago for many years an LMFT anywhere he went it was a very positive impact and until the end he was basically unrecognizable. I was trying to come forward and I even found now the message from the abuser coercing someone to make a “false” report against me and saying I’m bipolar and schizophrenic and obsessive which wasn’t true. Imagine the psychological toll that takes on a human being that doesn’t mean to have low blood sugar episodes and then to know someone was purposely inflicting it’s disgusting and no one did themselves any favors siding with them and I was being mocked by police who didn’t want to tell me anything and refused to help me or make missing persons report when I knew something was wrong and he wasn’t well. I have actual proof and no one has caged to this day. This is so overlooked and all done so systematically and planned and just setup and make a human a nobody this isn’t a fist time and this isn’t the full story of what i been dealing with but so much could have had a different outcome and it’s only one step if it gets addressed because the significance of someone’s trauma is more than anyone knows so it’s complicated most in such circumstances don’t have anywhere to go or talk to and to come forward to only be dismissed shows how cold people have become and this agency isn’t working or helping. I haven’t seen any accountability, no support, nothing. I am alone in El Paso now and I myself am disabled and dealing with this alone so I only have my voice. Delete my comment as you wish if you want to control what people see but if real progress is planned than there’s no other way to improve than to get this agency looked into and see what else is going on there because I don’t know what they are really doing."
