I'm a Houston criminal defense lawyer. Advocate for the poor everywhere. Believer in redemption. Former motorcycle adventurer, and barbecue fiend. Now dad with high cholesterol and life insurance. I'm a former Army Reserve Combat Medic and former prosecutor. I dedicate one hundred percent of my practice to criminal defense. From allegations of driving while intoxicated and domestic violence to murder and complex white collar cases. I'm a frequent lecturer around the world on criminal justice topics. "I don't think that the other testimonials are true because this lawyer Phil is not as good as you all are saying. My husband has been going to court for a year and a half to only be reset for a year and a half. He has reset it we have showed up to EVERY court date he is NEVER EVER there with us we are ALWAYS LAST to get out of there just for a reset and then to tell us to plead guilty to the crime!!! Is he working for the client or the D.A? We have paid too much money to be treated in this manner! We walk into court blindly every time. I truly don't think he knows ANYTHING ABOUT THE CASE! He does not speak for the person. I SHOULDN'T have to lead him he's the LAWYER and he's not Lawyering!!! They are very money motivated!!!"

"I’ve never been so grateful for freedom in my life. I recently had a tough case and a lot of hiccups while I was on probation. From burning the cup to missing check-in’s, I had quickly accumulated had an MTR and was to turn myself in to the probation officers. I was in jail for three weeks and saw my state attorney about two weeks into the hole. I had hired an outstanding and indefinitely experienced attorney “Mr. Wade” the week of court.
