Immigration Law, Criminal Law

About:

I practice criminal defense and immigration law at a high level. I am a seasoned trial attorney who takes pride in taking on challenging cases. I started my career as an Assistant District Attorney and handled thousands of cases. As a criminal defense attorney, I have the experience and confidence to defend anyone of any charge. I have attained acquittals on some of the toughest of cases and have taken over 100 cases to trial. Whether a client has been charged with a misdemeanor or a serious felony, they are all treated equally and receive zealous advocacy. Concerning my immigration practice, I represent clients who are seeking asylum, lawful permanent residency ("green card"), waivers, bonds, citizenship, and visas. I represent clients before the Executive Office of Immigration Review ("Immigration Court"), United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), and Federal Court. Additionally, as a cross-practice, I have vacated dozens of criminal convictions for immigrants facing immigration issues such as deportation, inadmissibility, and ineligibility for citizenship. "I highly recommend them! My husband’s case was extremely complicated. He was in the deportation proceedings and they got the case dismissed. Then they took over another lawyer’s I-130 filing because the lawyer wasn’t confident with going to court. JC was amazing! He prepped and prepped us. Not only did they get my husband’s deportation dismissed but he now has his 10 years Permanent Resident card. We will be forever grateful for Juan Congote’s dedication, professionalism and results!"

"I’m not even sure where to start!!! Toland Law has been the biggest blessing to my family. Attorney Juan C. answered all questions and helped my husband and I through the entire process. He was very thorough and made sure that we were fully prepared for our process that we were going through. I would 10/10 recommend if you need an immigration lawyer to DEFINITELY give them a call!"
