"Spoke with him, then hired him off the things he said… mistake made and never again will it happen. I told him my situation he basically fed off my struggle. Communication was off and that was a red flag to me. I don’t know him like that but I felt like this was just another case for him and to me it meant much more. When you have thoughts about trusting your lawyer and whether they cared about your situation as much as you do then that’s never a good sign. Lesson learned and when he said I couldn’t afford to pay or he would sue me if I tried to get my money back it was the cherry on top. I was hurt cause I literally told him what I needed and what I have been through lawyers will say what they have to to get to you I just wanted honesty loyalty and communication with genuine care. I didn’t wanna be just another case. I was literally going to other attorney offices asking questions all because the questions I was trying to ask him wasn’t being answered. No reply. Nothing I mean should it not tell you something if you are speaking with other people on how to go about your case ? I literally had another lawyer contact me and that person gave me information I should of had way before…. I had the MADD victim certificate complete as well as other things way before he even told me about any of them aside from the evaluation and dui class! Money was never an issue for me even though I was struggling all I have is myself! Why ? Cause I’m paying more for another lawyer now. This is the most honest review I could of written not to waste time but to give an insight into my experience. Do your research before making such decisions I was told one thing before retaining and I realized I was just told what I wanted to hear at the moment. It’s called preying upon a clueless helpless person my first time in this situation and it’s my fault I should of did research instead of thinking everyone is genuine and would care about you as they would a family or their own. You live and you learn."
