Patrice's entire career has been in community work: protecting the community from registered sex offenders, protecting abused, abandoned, and neglected children and helping families at risk of homelessness and other legal matters jeopardizing their safety and stability. Her career further focuses on the service of veterans, people living with HIV/AIDS, LGBTQ+, victims of domestic violence, and the elderly. Patrice is actively engaged in collaboration with Broward community partners, strategic planning, and program design. She has presented at national conferences regarding the law and particularly how it impacts vulnerable communities and how innovative solutions reach those target populations.

"I have no idea how this lawyer was referred to me, regarding an illegal eviction issue I was dealing with during the pandemic. The apartment was not legal, structurally unsafe (per code enforcement) and was termite infested. Nonetheless, I thought she was going to represent me. I paid $100 retainer fee. She spoke with the landlord, then told me that I didn't have a case."
