I am an aggressive, experienced criminal defense lawyer. I handle all types of criminal cases including but not limited to: traffic tickets, assaults, domestic assaults, sexual assaults, OWI, public intoxication, drug charges, federal drug charges, federal child pornography charges, federal medicare fraud, state & federal gun charges, harassment, stalking, burglary, robbery, forgery, theft, fraud, murder etc. I also handle state and federal appeals from all types of criminal cases. My goal is to get you the best possible outcome on your case. This involves a skilled evaluation of the charges, the evidence and available strategies. I will never back down from a fight and I will never give in to a prosecutor. I will always act with your best interests in mind. I promise to communicate with you. My efforts, my worry, my time are spent working to find you the best outcome. That is my one and only goal. I grew up on Des Moines' South Side, attended Dowling Catholic and Saint Louis University. In 2007 I graduated from the University of Iowa College of Law. I have worked for the Federal Public Defender Northern District of California (San Francisco Division), the Federal Public Defender Southern District of Iowa, and the Hillsborough County Public Defender, Tampa, FL. Like every great trial lawyer, I relish the opportunity to try a case to a jury or argue it before the Iowa Supreme Court and Iowa Court of Appeals.
