The Eastland County legal resources primarily focus on providing support and guidance in family law and domestic violence cases. They aim to address the concerns of survivors by offering information on restraining orders, custody issues, and other legal protections that may be necessary for those escaping abusive situations. The tone of their communication is straightforward but supportive, reflecting an understanding of the complexities and emotional challenges faced by individuals dealing with domestic violence. Survivors seeking legal assistance will find that the services provided highlight a commitment to protecting victims’ rights while guiding them through the legal process. The firm appears to prioritize the safety and well-being of survivors, acknowledging the sensitive nature of these cases. While they do not explicitly tout themselves as trauma-informed, the focus on domestic violence and family law suggests an awareness of the unique needs of survivors. It's important for individuals to assess whether they feel comfortable with this firm, as the legal landscape can often be overwhelming. "Unhelpful. Defensive. Spoke in jargon. Zero customer service skills. Incorrect referrals were given, which was even more frustraring. Based on this experience, we have abandoned the pursuit of having my ADULT children be able to change their last nane. So very disappointing...."

"I believe that the county recorder's office is to assist anyone who need to record a document or get a copy of a recorded document. There job is to service the paying customer without having a nasty attitude or speaking down to their customers. Their personnel in that office need to take customer service classes and the supervisor needs to be replaced or sent to management courses to learn to speak to people with respect. They are providing a service not the other way around."
