I was born in Monterrey, Mexico, but Houston has been my home for as long as I can remember. I grew up in southeast Houston, and life has taken me to live in every corner of our city. I attended Texas Tech University for my undergraduate studies, and I made it my goal to attend some of the nation's top law schools to receive the best legal education possible. I achieved this by attending Cornell Law School and The University of Texas School of Law for my law degree.
