I grew up in Westchester, New York. I used to regularly do stand up comedy while I was living in New York. I also used to do comedic acting and improv as well as script writing. I am a fantastic public speaker and orator. I was very good at chess when I was younger and I got a job as a chess tutor when I was in college and before I began law school. I am quick on my feet. I’m able to look 20 steps ahead. I love speaking to a crowd.

"Matthew Barbero with Legal Defense Center got me totally off on various charges! I never expected such an excellent outcome. He was prepared with multiple legal arguments, which ultimately won the day. He destroyed the cop’s testimony so badly that I actually felt kind of sorry for the cop. lol. The poor officer walked out of court with his tail between his legs! I walked out scott free. I have heard this attorney referred to as the King of Technicalities and now I know why. He is hands-down the best you will find. I strongly recommend him for legal defense. He also has a really wonderful staff who were very helpful to me leading up to my court date."

"Matthew Barbero was referred to me by another attorney after my daughter was involved in a major accident which resulted in her getting several serious citations. I was specifically told that if anybody was going to get her out of it, it would be Matthew Barbero. His representation was nothing short of miraculous. All charges were completely thrown out in court after Matthew literally destroyed the cop’s testimony and ingeniously argued the law. Quite literally every other juvenile walking out of the courtroom that day was being directed by their attorney where to go pay their fines and fees. I thought at best, my daughter‘s charges would just get reduced. Matthew’s Representation FAR exceeded my expectations. NOT GUILTY, NO FINES, NO FEES, NO POINTS! Matthew Barbero is the BEST it gets!
