About:

I enjoy helping people out, and my career as a divorce, custody, and personal injury attorney allows me to do just that. Clients need someone who they are comfortable around and who they can trust. I understand that family matters are deeply personal and that you are a real life person and not just another case. I am the owner and lead attorney at Seacoma Law, PLLC with offices in Tacoma and Seattle. If you are looking for compassionate, candid, and personalized advice, you have come to the right place. I have represented hundreds of clients in cases in the areas of divorce, cohabitation, paternity, child support, spousal support (alimony), parenting plans, division of assets and debts, separation agreements, legal separations, domestic violence protection orders, restraining orders, temporary orders, contempt, enforcement of court orders, mediation, arbitration, personal injury and trial. Family is important to me and when I am not practicing law, I am busy spending time with my wife, five children, and our dog. I love being outdoors with my family, doing things like camping, hiking, fishing or playing baseball. My real world experience with my family helps me better understand my clients and what they may be going through emotionally and economically.

"My experience was very stressful and with no end result. Mathew posted publicly details of my case which involved a high risk domestic violence and abuse situation. He got me zero child support as a single mom of 3 and harassed me financially as well. I would never recommend this attorney. If you want to spend all of your money and get nothing done then hire him."

"Matt is a brilliant attorney who knows how to navigate a complex case at a reasonable price. He is straight forward, honest and transparent with his pricing so you can get the best value and make the decisions that are important to your case, family and budget. He seems to have several strategies for each situation, and helps you navigate the legal system. He is very good at honing in on the particular legal issues of the case, and developing a strategy and executing it with precision and skill. He gives great advice and helps you sort out the emotional versus the legal aspects of the case. He is a nice and pleasant guy, and in the Courtroom he is fierce, respectful, and doesn't back down. He's not afraid of ugly fights, even as he maintains his calm, authoritative presence. He fights hard (and has won every time for us), in a way that reflects well on us. Matt is an amazing attorney and we are lucky to have him."
