I serve clients in felony and misdemeanor cases in superior court, justice courts, and municipal courts throughout Maricopa County including: Phoenix, Tempe, Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert, Scottsdale, and others. I tell my clients that we are a team. When you are scared and uncertain about criminal charges, about the court system, about the punishment you might face; or when you feel helpless because your loved one is facing charges, you want to know about the person you are investing your trust, time, and money in. When you retain me as your attorney, you will know who I am and what I can do for you. You won’t have to wonder, “who is this guy?,” “is he any good,” “can he help me, my child, my spouse?” You or your loved one will be my client and my teammate, not simply a paycheck as many other attorneys see you. I run my own law practice with the same dedication to fighting relentlessly for my clients as I have since my first day as an attorney. I hate bullies. I hate when the state comes after good people. I hate when the police use scare tactics and trickery to do harm to my clients and their families. And I will fight back with every tool I have at my disposal. "Matt Marner was nothing but GREAT when representing my young adult son who faced a fairly serious traffic related offense. Matt was always available and extremely helpful whenever we reached out and did a fantastic job explaining what we needed to know. My son was very nervous about his situation and once it was all over he told me that he felt safe with Matt, that Matt has his back and never said anything to make him feel worried or scared.
