"I am 75 years old and a long time patient of Dr. Gover. I am presently in florida and receiving care for a different ailment at Mayo Clinic. Dr. Gover was aware of my predicament and did not seem to be bothered by my arrangement and I would see her while in New York. Recently my medication provider told me that they were not receiving replies to their requests for my medication. After several calls and hours on hold, I was told that Dr. Gover was no longer at that location. I advised the person on the phone that I was completely out of medication for my diabetes, and other medications. I was assigned another doctor for a six week appointment, however, I was advised that my medication prescriptions would be withheld until after the appointment 6 weeks away. If I should die because of my medication being held hostage for a visit fee I just want the world to know about the lack of humanity at Montefiore clinic. I have had the same prescriptions and the same strengths for the past 5 years. What passes for medical care in some neighborhoods now days is more a monetary shakedown and the Hippocratic Oath are just meaningless words."

"Tried to get an appointment here and they don’t have any. They place you on a wait list and never call back. I’ve been waiting almost 2 months now for an appointment. I have to look for somewhere else to go cause i should be able to see a doctor within a reasonable time frame. This is not at all reasonable. And yes, I’ve been coming here for years but it was not like this prior."
