"I hired Mr. Marinaro for a case involving a summary charge of harassment. Being a resident of Ohio, he assured me he could get the case dropped for the cost of $2,500. 2 months later, COVID lockdowns begin (this is when they stopped doing court hearings in person, temporarily). 364 days goes by, and then I'm notified that there's a warrant out for my arrest for an FTA. At the end of the day, I lost $2,500 cash bond and still got the same plea deal they offered at the status conference. All that Mr. Marinaro could say, on record, for the court stenographer was, "my office failed to notify him for his court hearing." I wouldn't hire this guy to fight a traffic ticket if he was the last attorney on the face of Earth. I appreciate Mr. Marinaro taking accountability for failing to notify me, but that doesn't help the $2,500 cash bail that was revoked due to his offices negligence/ignorance."
