"My family had been going through a lot of unforeseen trouble and just looking for a lawyer was never in the books for us nor did we ever think we would ever need to. One of the first and best reviewed lawyers we came upon was the Law Offices of Marc Kohnen, and wow. He is very professional, answers all questions, communicates well, timely, and makes you feel at ease throughout the process and prior to even working with Marc. Thank you for everything you did for my family and for all the reassurances. We’ve gone through so much and you are the lawyer we always think about first not only for us but for anyone."

"Marc Kohnen scammed me out of $20,000 & wasted 2 1/2 years of my time. Exwife accuses me of DV November 2021, so I went and took a polygraph because I had NO knowledge of a DV incident and I passed and verified the truth. I had also filed for a divorce because I know she was lying. Her son-in-laws mom did the same to her ex husband too. So there’s a trend going on here within the Chula Vista courthouse. I showed the results to Mr Kohnen and judge Atkins in the Chula Vista courthouse but judge Atkins refused to accept the polygraph results and the fact that I knew NOTHING of a DV incident. So 2 years and 5 months later, with a Lack of call backs or preparations & one missed hearing in June 2022 by Mr Kohnen in my legal case, which he blames Tim Sullivan(his paralegal) for not scheduling Mr kohnen for my court hearing. ONE week prior to my MSA hearing, Mr Kohnen TRIED to shove an MSA agreement which was written by my exwife’s lawyer and get me to sign it and get me to accept a LOW ball offer on my home settlement. I fired Mr Kohnen and got another lawyer to represent me. My new lawyer had judge atkins drop the DV case due to lack of ANY evidence, he got me a marital settlement way higher than what Mr Kohnen tried to get me to sign for. All this for under $6000 is what I paid my new lawyer. Bottom line, learn from my experience and loss. Find yourself a Decent & more reliable lawyer."

"Marc and his paralegal, Tim, got my legal issues dropped in criminal court. They stuck by me in family court through and extremely rough child custody issue. Marc continues to have my back in court. The fees he charged were very reasonable. I'm very grateful for Marc's work because it's allowed me to be a very active part of my daughter's life."
