"I went from one of the most exciting experiences of my life to one of the most stressful, all in the same week. Earlier in the week, I had the honor of attending a private dinner with Oprah Winfrey in California. My husband and I thought it would be adventurous to drive back home to Texas. On the drive back, I received a traffic citation in Laguna, New Mexico for speeding and careless driving. I was extremely nervous and worried, especially after researching online and seeing that jail time was a possible consequence.
