"This review is written 1 week after my interaction with uBreakiFix. At this point, I have fixed my phone and recovered my data, and have no resentment towards the store. This review is based on my personal experience and everything that follows is based on pure fact, not emotion. I took my iPhone 14 Pro to uBreakiFix because my screen would intermittently go in and out. They quickly diagnosed my phone by saying my screen was faulty, and I needed a new screen. They gave me different options (OEM, aftermarket, etc...) and were reasonably priced all the way around. I drop my phone off in the morning and they expected to have it ready before I even left my work at 6 pm. I did not receive any notifications or updates that my phone was ready (~4 pm promise time), which was slightly concerning, so I just waited till I got off work and headed over. When I go to pick up my phone, one of the employees goes to the back to grab it and I overhear his conversation with his technician about what's going on with my phone "It's not holding a charge" "It's been sitting on the charger the whole day", which was pretty shocking to me since they diagnosed it as a bad screen, and never mentioned anything about the battery or charging of the phone. He comes out to me and tells me he is going to reverse the repairs, not charge me, and send me on my way. He lets me know it is having some type of motherboard issues that they would not be able to fix. He reverses the repairs, hands me the phone and it is at 1% battery life. I ask him to charge it for me for 5 minutes so my phone doesn't immediately die after leaving the store, which he does. He hands the phone back to me at 9%, and it was extremely warm to the touch, which he claimed was because it was on the fast-charger. 5 minutes after leaving the store, my phones battery percentage quickly goes down and my phone dies. At this point, my phone is officially a brick; it does not turn on at all and does not charge. I take it back to them the next day and they tell me that they are not able to do anything, and that I'd need to either get a new phone or take it to someone who specializes in board repair. At this point, my phone is now factually in a much worse condition than it was initially in, and they essentially told me to kick rocks. Fair enough, because I did not want them to attempt another repair on my phone, I just wanted to see what they would say and if they would offer any assistance in my future repairs, which they immediately shot down. I now have my phone completely fixed, and everything is functioning perfectly. The screen is no longer going out intermittently, my phone does not get hot on a fast charger, and everything is back to normal. Mind you, I still have the same screen I had when I first brought it into uBreakiFix, which they claimed needed to be replaced. The moral of the story is they misdiagnosed my phone, left it in a worse condition than it was initially in, and were not able to help me after it was in said condition. All the workers were nice people and seemed professional, but I do not trust their repair ability one bit. Not to mention, they seem like they are understaffed, which doesn't help if you want your repair to get the attention it deserves. If you don't want to be another number, don't go to uBreakiFix, cause you will be. You can tell by the copy/paste responses to their 1 star reviews."
