"I would like to take the opportunity to acknowledge and thank Matthew and Deanna Lopas of Lopas Law Group LLP. Over 5 years ago my brother was arrested on very serious charges. It was through connections with a lawyer we knew locally in Charlotte, NC, that Lopas Law Group LLP in San Diego was highly recommended to us for the nature of my brother’s charges. For over 5 years they have represented my brother through his case, the challenges with the court system and appeals processes. Matthew and Deanna Lopas are qualified, professional, knowledgeable and extremely competent when navigating the criminal law environment. Matthew and Deanna Lopas play to each others strengths when planning, implementing and arguing their defense strategies. They are thorough and effective communicators, both through the court system, with my brother, as well as me. Lopas Law Group LLP argued my brother’s case, eliminating charges. They skillfully negotiated my brother’s sentence, well versed and informed of the law. They sought council as needed and methodically researched a penal code for possible health care diversion.
