I have lived in Lexington, KY for the majority of my life. I worked at the Office of the Attorney General while attending lawsuit and immediately upon graduating, I worked in Criminal Appellate Division of the AG's Office. In 1989, I setup a private practice in Lexington, Kentucky where I have been practicing in all facets of family Law, Wills, Trust and Estates, Criminal, Business, Contracts, Employment Law and some Personal Injury. I practice out of the Lexington Downtown Office location. I have always been a very dedicated person to my clients and use all resources to help my clients in every way possible.

DVLawyers AI Summary:

LexArts is not a law firm, but rather a vital cultural agency that champions the arts within the community of Lexington, KY. While their primary focus is on promoting artistic initiatives and enhancing community engagement through art, they do not specifically address legal issues related to domestic violence or family law. Their mission revolves around creating opportunities for quality arts experiences and supporting artists and organizations through grants and collaborations. For survivors of domestic violence, it's essential to seek legal representation that understands the nuances of family law, custody disputes, and the intricacies surrounding restraining orders. LexArts emphasizes cultural equity and community support, which reflects an empathetic and inclusive approach, but they do not directly offer trauma-informed legal services. Survivors looking for legal assistance should consider firms or attorneys that specialize in domestic violence cases and have a proven understanding of the emotional and legal challenges faced by victims. LexArts can be a supportive community resource, connecting individuals with arts programs that may aid in healing and expression, but they are not a substitute for specialized legal help. If you're seeking a safe environment to explore art and community projects as part of your recovery journey, LexArts may offer valuable resources, but for legal matters, it would be advisable to find a dedicated legal professional in the domestic violence sector.
