"With some hesitation, mainly because I didn’t know her and because I had just ended my business relationship with another lawyer in a very bad manner, I contacted Attorney Lois J. Lawrence from Old Mystic, Connecticut to represent my daughter who was going through a divorce and had a child support hearing in Norwich Superior Court. I was also worried and extremely skeptic because I have heard from so many sources that in child support cases in Connecticut the courts were most of the time in the father’s side, especially if the mother is from out of state. As soon as my daughter and I met her legal counselor exactly the day before the hearing, my attitude toward Attorney Lawrence started to change and I started to breathe easier. Next day in court at Norwich, Mrs. Lawrence started to work in my daughter’s behalf immediately upon arrival and by the middle of the afternoon the hearing had been concluded. Both my daughter and I were extremely satisfied with Mrs. Lawrence professionalism, legal knowledge, and defense of my grandchildren rights as well as my daughter as their mother. If I had to scale Mrs. Lawrence work as a lawyer between 1 and 10, I would give her without hesitation 100. As we were flying back home two days after the hearing I told my daughter that for as long as the children father live and work in Connecticut, Attorney Lawrence would be their legal representative.
