About:

I'm Lisa B. Kirsch Satawa, and together with Christina Daskas (deceased), I founded Kirsch Daskas Law Group in 2015 with a mission close to our hearts: preventing wrongful convictions by defending against false allegations, one client at a time. Our vision wasn't just about legal representation; it was about nurturing young lawyers into compassionate advocates who see beyond the accusations to the person behind them. Born in Detroit, MI in the 1960s, I was raised with invaluable lessons by my parents—lessons in the importance of a strong work ethic, humility, gratitude, and family. Married to criminal defense attorney Mark Satawa for nearly 30 years, we've made Bloomfield Hills our home, raising our two children, Megan, 23, and Justin, 21, along the way. I have a passion for learning, especially at the intersection of law, psychology, medicine, and justice. Outside of work, I find joy in cooking, sailing, traveling, skiing, and sharing laughter with loved ones. As a hockey, softball, and baseball mom, I take pride in supporting my children's interests and serving as a mentor to aspiring young lawyers. Teaching and making a difference are central to my life philosophy. I believe in doing one thing every day that makes you smile, and I strive to live by that mantra. My dedication to justice extends beyond the courtroom; I'm committed to being an ally, confidante, and voice for my clients as they navigate the complexities of the legal system. Every day, I uphold the principles of the Constitution and advocate for justice. I'm deeply involved in supporting the community, including providing assistance to a disabled veteran and her four children. Offering discounted rates for veterans and individuals in recovery is another way I give back. My professional journey has been diverse, but my purpose remains unchanged: to be a voice for the voiceless and a defender of justice. View More ›
