About:

In the last several years, Ms. Vance’s practice has included a central focus on family and marital disputes. She promotes a gentler focus on marital termination, convinced that a family’s energies should be spent on the healthy development of children, rather than concentrating on marital angst. Ms. Vance works closely with mental health providers, so that clients can heal, rather than continue to wound those they do, and have, loved. As a result, the firm promotes collaborative law for marital disputes, whenever appropriate. When necessary, however, to protect families, Ms Vance's trial skills successfully promote the best interests of her clients and their children. Lisa Vance is a trial lawyer who has won significant verdicts for companies with challenging disputes. These include dangerous vicarious liability claims of sexual assault and murder as well as document-intensive national litigation. Ms. Vance has tried first impression cases at all levels of state and federal courts throughout the southwest, arguing emergent theories of law in trial and on appeal Lisa A. Vance is an AV rated lawyer and the firm is registered in the Martindale-Hubble Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers; her peers have granted her the highest level possible for competence and ethics. "If I could put 0 stars I would. They drop your case in a heart beat, if you choose a your own path. All they want is money and they disappear. They don’t answer for weeks, maybe months if your case is “concerning” or high priority to them. They don’t care about your happiness or what you want. They told me to sign documents, and a month later, when I asked to retract said documents and agreements they refused after, we poured money into their pockets. They might kind of know what they are doing, but definitely not worth the money, if I could go back and time and choose different lawyers from the start I would. That is all thank you."

"Expertise, compassion, and dedication. These are the three words I would use to describe Lisa Vance and her team. No matter how high my emotions became, Lisa & her team were able to stay calm, sort through my chaos, and push towards the end goal. Their knowledge of the Texas legal system is first class. Heaven forbid I would need family law services again, I would definitely go with Lisa."

"Lisa and her team were there for me from the moment I made the phone call that I thought I would never make. My attorney Brenda and her paralegal Lisa were amazing. They took the time to get to know me and what I was feeling, the effect on my family and also understand and explain to me what to do. There are other places that make this very difficult time just a business deal and just want to separate assets. NOT Lisa and her team! I felt listened too under the stress, understood when I needed time to process what they needed for the case. They had positive words and actions from the first phone call until everything was done. If you want a team that will listen to you, fight for what is right, be completely honest with you and most importantly understand what you are going through. Then look no further than Lisa and her team. As I was told, you will get through this and we are here to help every step of the way. I thank god for them everyday."

"Legal problems within a family are difficult and emotionally exhausting. After getting no results over a period of several years we finally decided we needed to add someone who would actually get us results. That person was attorney Lisa Vance. I knew Lisa from high school, where she excelled in every aspect. She is kind and most knowledgeable about the law. She is a winner in all ways. You will not find an attorney who will represent you with more zeal and compassion. In a scale of 1-10 she is an 11."
