"First of all. No amount of words can change how i got taken advantage. II was told I would receive a military discount. Paid over $5000 to get Charges reduced that I didn't commit removed before sentencing. He got a possession charge thrown out. I do have a medical card. Could have done more I believe. I was told by Patrick charges would be reduced. This did not get accomplished because he made an excuse that the state wanted money out of me. Waste of money from my perspective. I ended up having to sign a guilty plea to charges I didn't even commit. Patrick said he could have done more if I took it to trial he stated but he wanted more $$ for that. What an unprofessional and unethical way of helping himself instead of me.. With all of their connections and their resources and how long he has been practicing law. I did expect more. I originally gave a one star review but he called me and complained and convinced me to bump it up to 3. I don't feel comfortable doing this but did anyway. The more time passes the worse I feel about this review. Its pathetic when someone takes your money and does not complete the job. Patrick contacted me, harassed me, and complained about his bad review. I feel that this firm took advantage of my misfortune. Try to convince me to upgrade your review again. What a bad joke. Seems to me that most of these 5 star reviews are fake. It is easy to tell because of the generic personalized wording with limited other reviews. A portion of the 5 star reviews are not even clients, just acquaintances. Others are not even real clients. Hard to trust a business that does this. Final update: one star is too good. You had me plead guilty to charges that I did not commit. I got attacked in my home but I received assault charges. Terrible lawyer avoid!! You probably put more time to save face in my review than you did with my entire case thanks for nothing. You made well over $5000. I am the one has to live with the reality of your bad work ethic. You never gave me a military discount I was told a price and then I was smart enough to ask for the discount and I was told I already was at lowest price what a crock! I now have a civil suit to fix what you never accomplished. If you want to contact me to complete the job. I Would have consider softening your review but I believe it's too late for that. I give credit where credit is due. This firm is greedy, irresponsible, difficult, and very self serving. No credit due here. Avoid!!!"

"Was very aggressive and had my case dropped with a complete dismissal a year and a half ago. I switched from a lawyer I already payed, to mr Lauer in the middle of the case, and it was the best decision I've ever made. The case was extremely serious and i didnt and never would commit arson. Patrick was the only person that treated me fairly. If convicted i would have spent many years in prison. He goes far beyond a traffic lawyer. Thank You Mr Lauer."
