"Unpleasant consultation call — he essentially got frustrated that I was not 100% sure I wanted to go with him as my legal representation for a ticket, as his price was outside of my budget. (He told me to call him back when my insurance rates jacked up…) I went with a more patient lawyer with a lower fee who was much easier to talk to and ended with a good outcome. If you’re looking for an attorney, call multiple lawyers before making a decision on who to go with. Edit in response: You literally said “find another lawyer” and hung up the phone 😭 And I feel like there are more polite ways to suggest I consider insurance rates increasing than saying “call me back when your insurance rates increase” …especially given the fact you didn’t know for certain what the outcome of the case would be."
