"About 20 years ago Heather J Mattes took thousands from me and then refused to represent me in trial unless I gave her thousands more. She forced me to plead guilty to an assault I didn't commit. My two friends and I were attacked by two men after they smashed my windshield (while we were driving) and we were charged for defending ourselves. She helped to ruin my life! I have never been able to get a decent job and I am severely depressed! This still haunts me everyday. All these years later and I still have issues because of her."

"There are not enough good things to say about Ms. Mattes and her team. They are professional, diligent and extremely thorough. Every aspect of our case was looked at from multiple directions leaving no stone unturned. Their hard work and investigation provided not only an excellent defense, but succeeded in having several charges dropped and/or reduced. My family and I are more than pleased with the outcome of our situation. I personally was very impressed with the ability of Ms. Mattes to be direct yet compassionate at the same time.
