"Alexandra Kirschbaum was the second family lawyer I hired. The first one was too busy, and kept me waiting... and got nothing done. Within less than three months of working with her, I had my first of two mediation sessions. She is knowledgeable, experienced, and compassionate with her clients. She may seem meek but that couldn't be further than the truth! She put foot down when the other party tried to play games, and took control of how things would go. I was both shocked and pleased to see her in action: I was quite happy to have her on my side! One aspect of her professional attitude that I really liked was when she interjected, saying "This is likely to cost you more to fight for than what you'll gain". She really cares about her clients' financial and emotional well-being, which was a nice surprise. She also has a fair understanding of French (I had forms I could only obtain in French), thus saving me money to have them translated. I recommend Alex to anyone who has family law needs. Her office is well-run, monthly invoices sent at regular intervals, and everyone works as a team. She made the painful process of getting a separation agreement much less stressful than I've seen with acquaintances."
