About:
Keydon Levy is a highly skilled criminal defense attorney with over a decade of courtroom experience. He joined Lamano Law Office in 2021, bringing with him a distinguished background that includes nine years as a Deputy District Attorney for the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office. During his tenure as a prosecutor, he managed a high-volume caseload of felony, misdemeanor, and juvenile cases, guiding them from intake to resolution. Witnessing the inequities within the justice system and the profound impact criminal accusations have on people of color, Mr. Levy transitioned to criminal defense to advocate for those facing systemic injustice. As a Deputy District Attorney, Mr. Levy honed his litigation skills by supervising entry-level attorneys, arguing complex motions, and conducting settlement negotiations. He also prepared expert witnesses, lay witnesses, investigators, and analysts for trial, ensuring every aspect of a case was meticulously managed. Beyond the courtroom, Mr. Levy served as an adjunct professor at Golden Gate University School of Law, where he taught mock trial and evidence courses, sharing his extensive knowledge and practical experience with aspiring attorneys. Mr. Levy earned his Juris Doctor from UC Berkeley School of Law, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership and advocacy skills. He founded the Black Law Student Association's mock trial team, leading them to victory in both the Western Region and San Diego competitions. He was also elected President of the Law Students of African Descent and served as a board member of the Advocates Trial Team. His undergraduate studies were completed at Pennsylvania State University, where he majored in Criminology, graduating summa cum laude and as valedictorian of his class. View More ›
