They do the bare minimum and charge you for their mistakes. If you are fighting for your child stay away from this law firm. Read the other reviews. It’s all true. "If I could give negative stars I would, he doesn't even deserve one. My boyfriend hired Trent Stewart and paid him the full $30,000 to represent me on this case. The lawyer did not file anything he was supposed to or do any work that he was supposed to. It has taken me a long time to file this complaint because I was unaware of my rights at the time. This time was very stressful for myself and family because of this case and the faulty Lawyer that was supposed to be representing me. I found out that Trent did not file certain motions that he said he did by going down to the clerks office myself and I was told by the clerk that there was nothing done on Trent's behalf. At this point I had fired my counsel and requested my money back. I sent Trent a certified letter requesting money back for work that was not completed or done at all and he did not even open the letter he had the certified letter sent back to me unopened and I still have this letter as proof in original form. Trent continued to avoid me and had asked me what I was going to tell the court about firing him and basically wanted to know if i was going to let the courts know that he took my money and did not return any of it. I have later found many clients that this attorney has gotten over on and ripped off. He also never had a office and would practice out of other attorney offices saying that it was his office. He deletes social media profiles to keep from obtaining negative reviews. All of these sketchy ways run together with how he himself practices law in an unlawful way. His website is now a Chinese website and i found he is now a public defender. Stay far away"
