"Response to Kelley Joseph: M'am I paid your bills so I was your client. Also, can I point out that you should stop asking bogus people who are not your client and have never paid you a dime to post 5 star reviews for you so you can increase your ratings. That is as deceitful as your practices. Work ethics are carried through regardless of your title. AS a GAL you were negligent at best and that is a role where you are expected to represent children so it should be your best performance! Review: I wish I could hive this attorney a negative star review because 1 star is still too much for her. I hired Kelley Joseph to serve as a Guardian Ad Litem (GAL) during a Family Court case, hoping she would advocate for my husband's children in a situation involving parental alienation. However, our experience with her was beyond disappointing. Despite being recommended by my husband's previous attorney, it became clear that she lacked the necessary skills and qualifications for the role. Shockingly, she admitted on record to only having three days of training to be a GAL in Florida and confessed to having no special training in psychology. Throughout the more than two years we worked with her, Kelley Joseph failed to conduct any meaningful investigation or establish communication. She neglected to visit our residence or the children's mother's residence. She also failed to speak with any collateral witnesses to gather crucial information and when a family member reached out to her to discuss their concern over the children's well-being, the person was met with refusal on Ms. Joseph’s part because she claimed she was owed money. Despite charging us over $12,000 for her services, she did little more than send invoices and solicit funding for further investigations, rather than genuinely advocating for the children's best interests or conducting any meaningful investigation citing she needed help from other professionals to be able to conduct her investigation. Her excuses for the lack of communication were numerous: she was on vacation, sick, dealing with personal matters, or simply did not receive our emails or messages despite having confirmation on our end. I sincerely wish I had read reviews prior to hiring her; it would have made it clear that she was not fit for the job. To make matters worse, she made recommendations in the family case that led to unnecessary expenses, draining the family's resources. One of these recommendations included hiring a "social investigator," which even a judge in the case felt it was not a viable solution in our case due to the costs involved that neither party could afford and the length of time this would require. In fact, her involvement only served to worsen the situation and create more delays in reuniting the father with his children. Despite her failures, we have since been successfully reconnected with our children, highlighting the detrimental impact of Kelley Joseph's incompetence and lack of dedication as a Guardian Ad Litem. If you are looking for someone to genuinely advocate for your children, I strongly advise you to seek assistance elsewhere. This attorney/GAL may prolong your case without providing any real support, leaving you with nothing but invoices. Protect your family and your children’s best interests by avoiding this attorney/GAL."

"What an absolute wonderful woman and law office. Obviously any family case already has tons of emotions involved. My husband and I had a unique child custody case. We had searched for and spoken with numerous lawyers. Each one gave us different or over the top legal advice and information with hefty retainers and fees (which of course totally understand lawyer costs). They all left us with more questions than answers and more concerns than ease. Then entered Kelley. Kelley took my call and seemed to be the only lawyer who came at us with care and sound advice. She answered all my questions and advised me with the best thing to do for our case. Thank you Kelley for helping us find a lawyer that I know we can trust."
